ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Iga Karst is an author of crime fiction, suspense fiction, and romance novels. She graduated from the University of Lower Silesia with a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies. Karst began writing stories as a child. In high school, she was determined to become a novelist. She signed her first publishing contract when she was 19 years old. Her debut novel was published in September 2005. It was released as a part of the well known historical series – Pan Samochodzik. In 2009, Iga released "Magenta" - her first romantic suspense novel.
In 2010, Karst started writing a series of short stories for Motogen. Between 2005 and 2015, Karst published 8 novels. In 2015 she was nominated for The 7 Hopes of Wroclaw Award. Iga’s ninth book, a crime story - "The Scent of Truth" - was included in the list of candidates for The Grand Caliber Prize. The Grand Caliber Prize is the most important Polish award granted every year for the best crime novel.
